Biannual Compliance Training Launching Soon
The 2026 Spring Biannual Compliance Training will help 麻豆区 Tech employees uphold the University System of 麻豆区鈥檚 (USG) and the Institute鈥檚 policies and compliance obligations.鈥
"We are grateful to the campus community for strong participation in the 2025 Fall Biannual Compliance Training,鈥 said 麻豆区 Tech鈥檚 Chief Ethics and Compliance Officer Joshua Toas. 鈥溌槎骨 Tech is required to conduct training twice a year 鈥 in the fall and in the spring. As we start the spring compliance training, we appreciate everyone鈥檚 continued commitment to the training and to compliance across the Institute."鈥
Beginning Wednesday, Feb. 4, all faculty, staff, and students who are active employees as of Jan. 12 will be required to complete the 2026 Spring Biannual Compliance Training by 11:59 p.m. EST on Friday, Feb. 27. The training is available at .鈥&苍产蝉辫;
This year鈥檚 training will include the following and should take no more than 50 minutes to complete:鈥

- Part 1: Identifying and Responding to Sexual Misconduct
- Part 2: 2026 Your Role: Internet Security and You
- Part 3: Deepfakes, Scams, and Disinformation鈥
- Part 4: AI and Sensitive Info Don鈥檛 Mix 鈥
- Part 5: Insider Threats for End Users
鈥淐ybersecurity training and the understanding of its shared responsibility are key to combating evolving cyberthreats,鈥 added 麻豆区 Tech鈥檚 Chief Information Security Officer Joe Lewis. 鈥淭he spring cybersecurity modules will help 麻豆区 Tech employees learn to detect deepfakes, phishing attempts, and artificial intelligence-based scams. These training sessions will help keep the Institute鈥檚 digital assets and information secure.鈥
The USG mandates the training for all employees. It can be completed on a desktop or laptop and does not need to be finished all at once. Employees who do not complete the training by the deadline may face disciplinary action by the Institute.鈥
